A compiler for xBase compatible with Clipper compilers.

Harbour is a compiler for the xBase programming language, compatible with Clipper compilers. It's a robust and stable compiler, which is also free.

Although in this case the version for Windows of Harbour is offered in this download, this compiler is cross platform, and from the author's website you can obtain the corresponding versions for Mac OS, Linux, Pocket PC, MS-DOS, etc.

Harbour is portable. You can work with this compiler from platform to platform with the same code base. In addition, Harbour supports RDDs, and is open source. If you need to compile xBase, rest assured that you find it very helpful.

NOTE: There is a GUI for Harbour you'll find on the portal Sourceforge.net with the name "Harbour wxHarbour GUI for the compiler."
